All the time spent with my dearest Sharon never seemed to be enough.

Wedding Rings/Bands
My thoughts:
(1) "My wedding ring/band will not be able to represent or prove how much my bf and I love each other. It is just a symbol to show others that we are 'taken', to avoid 'disappointment' and 'confusion'. Haha.."
(2) "I will prefer not to change my ring/band to upgrade for a better one. However, my FHB can keep buying new rings/bands for me at his own expense. Haha.."
(3) "If my FHB and I ever lose our wedding ring/band, I will not be disappointed or upset as it does not mean anything to us. We will just simply replace it with another ring/band."
(4) "When taking vow, the rings/bands will only be 'visual' symbols for other people who are 'blind' and cannot 'see' our love for each other with their 'eyes' to 'see'. We have already 'confirm' each other long ago, all these ceremonies are for the country (thru Registry Of Marriage) to know and for people who know us to double confirm now that we have the 'guarantee' and 'chop'."
(5) "We have to buy each other a gd ring/band because we will have to wear it as often as we can for the rest of our life and replacing it will waste money. So, the price should not be priority citeria."

Jon's version
My thoughts on wedding:
I have not really given much thought to this issue recently but if it had been the topic on marriage, then there probably would be more to write about.
I agree with my dearest Sharon that the wedding dinner or whatever that is going to be planned and whatever activities go on - it's just to announce to family members and friends that we are tying the knot and thus so that they are informed that we are officially husband and wife.
The traditional wedding dinner where everyone sits for a dunno-how-many-course meal is so overdone and boring! But one thing cannot be skipped and though I am never that religious or traditional, the tea ceremony is a must.
My perfect idea of a wonderful wedding ceremony will be -
I will keep everyone posted.
Cheers!

My perfect idea of a wonderful wedding ceremony will be -
- a live band playing all our favourite songs
- a DJ like Brendon P (a wonderful friend) playing his best chill-out music tracks as and when the band is not playing
- drinks galore and please let us not have beer
- a special alcohol station where Shane (a good friend of mine) is the bartender
- good catered buffet spread that must include ketupat and satay plus sushi
- guests to include Sharon's mom & dad, her siblings, my mom and dad and my younger bro and his gf, Shurong
- more guests to include the SKOOL family that now has Elgene, Carol, Felix, Charis, Eric, Kelvin, Hazel, Alvin, Michael Tai and Wang
- the basketball boys from Yi Xing and Si Ling Sec (dunno how many years ago)
- And MOST IMPORTANTLY, everyone to have fun and interact and do crazy things like mass line dance!
- Oh yea, I forgot! It's a good chance to show off my remixes which I have not really done in front of a live crowd!
- Shit...one more thing! Theme party would be good!
I will keep everyone posted.
Cheers!
